CASA Part 147 approved aircraft type theoretical training and examination to meet Part 66 requirements for issue of an aircraft type rating. The syllabus, training levels and examination are in accordance with Appendix III of the Part 66 MOS for the nominated aircraft type and licence category/subcategory.
Who is this course for?
Part 66 Category B1.1 limited licence holders or applicants requiring the theoretical element and examination to support endorsement of the aircraft type rating stated in the course title on a Part 66 licence.
AC 147-02 Note 1: Type training Recognition of Prior Learning against QAC approved training courses is approved for this organisation.
AC 147-02 Note 4: These courses have been previously approved under CAR 30 and are classified as legacy courses. Further training maybe required for a licence rating outcome.
AC 147-02 Note 7: Distance learning (online) approved and in use by this organisation.
