CASA Part 147 approved on-the-job training (OJT) practical programme to meet Part 66 practical training/experience requirements for an aircraft type rating. OJT is conducted and recorded in accordance with the training organisation’s approved OJT procedures/task log to demonstrate practical competence for the applicable licence category/subcategory privileges.
Who is this course for?
Part 66 Category B1.3 licence holders or applicants requiring practical OJT to support endorsement of the aircraft type rating stated in the course title on a Part 66 licence.
AC 147-02 Note 1: No RPL procedure described in exposition. RPL use is not approved for this organisation.
AC 147-02 Note 3: Engine exclusion removal from Agusta AB139/ AW139 (PWC PT6) Type Rating only.
AC 147-02 Note 4: The B1.3/B2 courses only provide mechanical, structural, electrical, avionic and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) training outcomes (includes all engine interfaces where applicable); attendees need to complete an approved engine course to obtain the full B1.3 rating without engine restrictions.
